A yacht trip in the Netherlands

We invite you on a yacht trip in the Netherlands, a country with the oldest maritime history, home of great travelers and shipbuilders.

The Netherlands is most often associated not with shipyards, but with red-light districts and coffee shops, and a little less often we associate this country with canals, houseboats and tulips. But nevertheless, it is a maritime power, Peter the Great himself came to Holland to study everything about the sea and laid the foundation for Russian maritime traditions.

We will devote this week to the central part of the Netherlands. Of course, the main gem of the trip will be Amsterdam, where we will stay a little longer so that you can enjoy all the delights of this city, but we will also see islands, seas, rivers, lakes and canals.

    Andijk - Texel.

The next day, we will go to Texel Island, the most ecologically clean area of the Netherlands. It is also the largest and most developed in terms of infrastructure of the Frisian Islands, which are a popular resort area among the Dutch. The western part of the island is a twenty-five kilometers long beach.

We suggest arriving here early and renting bicycles, as the island is a web of bike paths between natural parks and tulip fields.

    Haarlem - Amsterdam.

After enjoying the sights of Haarlem, we will head along the Spaarne River to the Northern Sea Canal and then we will head for Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, one of the largest ports in the world and the largest city in the country, as well as the largest cultural center.

Amsterdam is really a huge city and it is not possible to get around it in a day or even in two. It is worth starting from the central area, which is divided into several quarters. The main ones are the Old and New sides - Audzeids and Nievesades, respectively, surrounded by four parallel rings of the Grachtengordel canals, to the left of them is the Jordan region, to the right is De Plantage.
