J80 Cyprus Championship winter series

Cyprus J80 Championship is organized by the Limassol SailFirst Sailing Club in St Raphael Marina.

This is a traditional winter series for both experienced sailors and beginners. This regatta is for those who want to try themselves at the technical sports race, and for those crews which are at the very beginning of their formation. For the experienced teams, it is also the opportunity to practice and test their skills.

If you have never raced in sports boats and love adrenaline, then you will really like this regatta. Because the yacht is small, each crew member is busy, and there is no place for those just want to hang out on a yacht.

The weather is expected to be windy, so you should have waterproof warm thermal underwear and boots. Boats will be allocated by a draw. There will be short loop races and, possibly, one route race (10-15 m.m.).

It will be a short-distance exciting race, where not only the captain's tactical and strategic decisions are important, but also the coordinated work of the crew in all maneuvers, the accuracy, and the speed. This is a great opportunity to improve your racing skills.
