    Martinique

The island of Martinique is one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean, and the overseas department of France. The capital of the island is the city of Fort de France. In the center of the city there is La Sawan Park with palm trees and fountains, and in the southern part — Fort Saint-Louis. The main cultural attractions of the capital are the Scholscher Library, the Museum of Archeology, and the Museum of Ethnography.

If you want to try real Caribbean rum, go to the city of Sainte-Marie. Here it began to be produced back in 1660. Today, the old St. James Plant was converted into the Rum Museum, where you can see the technology for making this drink, as well as try different varieties of rum.

The best beaches in the country are situated in the southern part of the island. The picturesque Etan de Salin Lake is also located there.

    Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

The island of San Vincent is the largest island in the state. It has beautiful nature and there is an active volcano La Soufriere, which is 1234 meters high. Tourists love climbing to the top of the volcano. The capital city, Kingstown, is very beautiful and it is perfect for walks. St. Mary’s Cathedral is interesting: built from dark volcanic blocks, it is an amazing combination of Gothic, Moorish and Romanesque styles.

    Mustique

Mustique is called the «island for the elite.» Its story is very interesting. In the late 50s of the 20th century, the island was bought by Baron Colin Tennant. He cleaned the island and promised the government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, which formally owns the island, that no one would harm the nature of the island. That is why the beauty of nature and the ecology of the area is unique here.

    Saint Lucia

The island of St. Lucia is of volcanic origin, and therefore more mountainous than most other islands of the Caribbean. Along the entire length of the island, from north to south, the central mountain range of Barr de L’Ile Ridge stretches. The mountains are from 400 to 900 meters high, the highest one is Mount Jimi (950 m). Gros — Python is 797 m, Petit Python is 750 m, and Morn-Bonin is 640 m. There are many traces of active volcanic activity in the same area — hot sulfur springs, eroded lava fields, gas outlets, sulfur deposits. About 400 species of plants grow on the island.
