Курс Yachtmaster Coastal IYT
The Yachtmaster Coastal IYT certificate is a recreational (cruising / recreational) and demonstrates the owner's competence in sailing and / or powerboat up to 24 meters in length and up to 60 nautical miles offshore.
The holder of this license is also allowed to walk at night.
An interesting course full of both theory and practice takes place in the form of a journey, when the cadets, replacing each other, become duty skippers on the yacht, organizing the team management process from early morning until late in the evening, honing their knowledge and skills, gaining the much-needed experience.
Applicants should be aware that as a result of successfully passing the exam, they will receive a recreational certificate that cannot be promoted to professional.
Requirements for passing on a yachtmaster of coastal sailing
- 30 days or 800 miles at sea, including 2 days as skipper (helmsman on duty);
- 12 night hours as skipper (helmsman of the watch).
