Mile building: Gibraltar to St.Tropez

We are pleased to offer you the chance to sail from Gibraltar, the gateway to the Mediterranean, to the glamorous destination of St Tropez on the French Riviera.

On route you will traverse Southern Spain, and you may get to visit North Africa, you will sail to the famous Balearic Islands (Majorca and Menorca) and the South of France. You will gain around 800 to 1000 sea miles and passage experience as well as RYA qualifications, skippered passages and watch-keeping skills. You could also use the trip to qualify for your RYA Yachtmaster.

This passage is a great way to get some Mediterranean sunshine in autumn and sail the coasts of Spain and France. The glamorous south coast of France is a great place to end the passage and St Tropez is a major tourist hotspot to enjoy before flying out from a choice of two international airports served by low cost airlines.

You will be part of the watch system and will be expected to take an active role in sailing the yacht, cooking, general onboard housekeeping and lookout duties.

You will be sailing with an experienced skipper who will be on hand to provide expert tuition in passage making, professional skippering skills and navigation instruction. You will be able to log the miles toward your RYA qualifications and achieve skippered passages.
