New yachting in Tenerife 2020 — celebrate the New Year on the ocean!
A week full of adventures aboard a comfortable yacht is definitely the best way to start the new year. We will see magnificent fireworks in the capital of the island — Santa Cruz de Tenerife, we will drink Spanish wine under the stars, watch whales and dolphins, swim in the ocean, drive around the island and eat fresh seafood.
The trip will take place on one of the yachts from our own fleet. The yacht has everything you need for a comfortable stay: double cabins, hot and cold showers, and a saloon with an equipped kitchen.

The program may change due to weather conditions or at the request of the crew.
Day 1: Check-in at about 16:00. Our fleet is located in the marina of San Miguel, just 20 minutes from the Tenerife South airport. On the first evening, we get to know each other, buy food, and have dinner together. After a security briefing, we start sailing to the island’s capital — Santa Cruz de Tenerife. If it is windy, we will start in the morning.

Day 2: Sailing to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, or arriving there in the morning (if we have started out at night). Getting ready to celebrate the New Year! We will have a stroll around the capital. The Spaniards know a lot about how to have fun. During the New Year holidays there are carnivals and street performances here. At night, we will celebrate the New Year on a yacht with champagne and shrimp salad! We will watch bright fireworks and then go to the city to have some fun. This night will be exciting! It’s time to make wishes and set new goals.

Day 3: After a fun New Year’s Eve, we will slowly wake up, have breakfast and sail to the marina of Las Galletas. Las Galletas is a small fishing village in the south of Tenerife, with the best fish market in this part of the island, and we will definitely visit it. Then we will have dinner on the ocean in a cozy Spanish restaurant.

Day 4: Today we will sail to the neighboring island of La Gomera — the smallest and the greenest island of the Canary archipelago. The sailing will take about 5 hours. While sailing we might see whales, dolphins and large sea turtles. The marina is located next to a beautiful old town, and we will go sightseeing there.

Day 5: The day on the island. We rent cars and set off to explore the nature, which hundreds of thousands of travelers come to see every year. Tired but happy, we return to the yacht in the evening.

Day 6: Sailing back to Tenerife, to Turtle Bay. We might go to Los Gigantes and visit the famous Masca Gorge, if the passage through the gorge is restored by this time. We’ll anchor the yacht in the ocean for the night.
- 05 January, 2020
Day 7: We wake up on a yacht in the middle of the ocean, swim and sunbathe. After all, the water temperature does not drop below 21 °. After lunch, we sail to our home marina. We will spend the farewell evening at a local restaurant, exchange photos, contacts and promise to meet again.
- 06 January, 2020
Day 8: We’ll leave the yacht at 9 am, happy and ready to realize our new year goals.
