International skipper courses are two weeks of theory and practice on a 13-meter sail-motor yacht. The yacht is certified for training in a school that has absorbed the centuries-old tradition of yachting.
If you successfully pass a serious theoretical and practical exam, you will receive two certificates :

How is the training:
1st day at 17:00 - students' gathering, acquaintance with the internal space, accommodation on a boat, distribution of roles, safety measures, acquaintance;
2-3rd day - acquaintance with the internal and external space, practical navigation, maneuvering under the engine, learning the knots, learning the rules of navigation, receiving weather forecasts;
4th – 7th day - sailing along the coast, practicing mooring, anchoring, applying the MPPSS-72 rules, mastering radio communications, practicing the “rescue a drowning man (MOB)” maneuver;
8-10th day - work with sails, overshoot and fordewind turns, blockage hoist, taking reefs;
11th day - exam, holiday dinner;
12th day - check-out.
What the exam consists of:
Theoretical part (navigation, MPPSS-72, radio communication, yacht design).
Practical part (components, maneuvering under the engine, preparing the yacht for departure, receiving a weather forecast, preparing the yacht for mooring, mooring with the lag and stern, anchoring, performing the man-overboard maneuver under the engine and under the sails, maneuvering under the sails).
