In 2008-2009, Rodion Luka was the helmsman in the Team Russia team on some of the stages of the Volvo Ocean Race round-the-world regatta on the “Killer Whale” yacht.
In 2012-2013, Rodion Luca worked as a trainer in the class RC44.
The founder and permanent leader of the school's yachts is Kiev Racing Yacht Club.
