Arriving on the island of Sint Maarten

    Getting comfortable on our catamarans

The island of Sint Maarten is proud of the most unique airport in the world - the airport of Princess Juliana. Airplanes land directly above the heads of tourists, because the runway starts from Maho Beach. In the Dutch part of the island there are the best beaches, such as Mullet Bay beach, Maho beach, Orient beach. Orient Beach has a lot of water activities for every taste.

The capital of the Dutch part of the island is Philipsburg. Here, there are lots of examples of early colonial architecture. The city also has nine small churches and a very beautiful botanical garden. The capital of the French part is Marigot. The main touristic sight of Marigot is Fort Louis.

Sailing to the British Virgin Islands

The British Virgin Islands are located near the Caribbean. The territory includes 42 islands, the largest of which are Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Anegada, Jost Van Dyke.

The island of Torola is famous for its botanical garden with an area of 1.5 hectares. Despite its relatively small size, there is a large collection of exotic plants, there is also a Christmas garden and an Orchid House.

Near the island of Anegada there is one of the main attractions of the state - the Horseshoe Reef. Its length is 30 km and it is very popular among divers. Here you can see not only a lot of marine animals but also the wrecks of drowned ships.

The largest city on Virgin Gorda Island is Spanish Town. There are interesting ruins of the ancient Spanish fortress Little Fort here. Near the fortress there is a national park with a lot of natural attractions.
