Bareboat skipper IYT in Phuket

The aim of the 10-day course is to provide you with all the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to safely and confidently act as a skipper/captain when sailing a yacht. This includes: inflatable powerboat handling, sailing under sail and power, including difficult weather conditions and limited visibility, basic meteorology, marina maneuvering, use of compass and other navigational equipment, use of nautical charts, navigation, tides and currents, ICCC72, navigation lights, basic first aid and safety, captain's responsibility.

After passing this program you will receive the IYT International Bareboat Skipper certificate, which will allow you to charter a yacht up to 24 meters long in any water area of the world, as well as a certificate of radio operator.
