INTERNATIONAL BAREBOAT SKIPPER COURSE

The knowledge gained on this course will enable you to sail a sail-engine cruising yacht up to 24 meters in length, in coastal areas up to 20 miles offshore, day and night.

The program of this course meets the requirements of the IYT International Bareboat Skipper qualification

Theory

This is an online course consisting of lectures that are conveniently organized into sections and topics (38 lectures in total, ranging from 11 minutes to 1.5 hours in length).

To reinforce the skills learned in training, this course includes a 100 MILE TRAINING SURFACE

INCLUDED IN THE COURSE FEE:

THEORY

- access to a private office with recordings and lecture presentations;

- supportive Telegram Chat;

- learning platform with test system; - online consultations with the instructor.

PRACTICE IN THE SEA (Marmaris, Turkey)

- 7 or 12 days of intensive training;

- classes on navigational charting; - practice radio conversations;

- 3 days of training sailing, 1 day - exam;

- accommodation in a 2-bed cabin (it is possible to buy the whole cabin - additional payment of 1000 €);

- transitlog, bluecard;

- fuel and anchorages during the training period.

NOT INCLUDED:

production and delivery of IYT documents (cadet pays on his own, based on IYT rates, about 160 € with delivery);

flight and transfer to the place of practice in Marmaris, Turkey;

meals (can be cooked on the yacht);

ship's ticket for the 3-day trip (fuel, anchorages, meals, about 50 €/person); stay on board of family members (up to 2 extra places in the group), additional fee 100 €/person, day.
