Get real hands-on experience with the instructor Alexei Moskvin as part of the 100CAPTAINS Bareboat Skipper IYT practical course and get your skipper license!
The practice starts and ends in Antibes (France). A great chance to get trained and get a skipper license.
The total number of nautical miles traveled during the event is 150.
The practical course includes obtaining the following skills and knowledge:
day and night yacht management;
organization of relationships in the crew; preparation for going to sea, checking the main systems and safety equipment (safety briefing);
gaining experience of night crossings;
obtaining and practical analysis of weather forecasts, planning of crossings taking into account the information received;
water rescue;
storm technique;
mooring with log, bow and stern; entry and mooring in unfamiliar harbors, "wild" stops; anchoring.
