Get a real practical experience with instructor Alexei Moskvin as part of the Bareboat Skipper IYT Practical Course at the Yachting School 100CAPTAINS and get a skipper license!
The practical course starts and finishes in Ostia (Rome).
The total number of nautical miles is 150.
The practical course includes the following:
· Yacht management during the day and night;
· Organization of relationships in the crew; preparation for going out to the sea, safety briefing;
· Night crossings;
· Receiving and practical analysis of weather forecasts, planning voyages with the information received;
· Rescuing techniques on the water;
· Storming technique;
· Mooring with a log, bow, and stern; approaching and mooring in unfamiliar harbors; anchoring.
