10-day BAREBOAT SKIPPER IYT practical course on the GAGARIN yacht!
Get real practical experience with the instructor Alexei Moskvin as part of the practical course Bareboat Skipper IYT Yachting School 100CAPTAINS and get a skipper license!
Practice starts and ends in Ostia (Rome). A great chance to get trained and get a skipper license on New Year's holidays!
The total number of miles traveled during the event is 150.
The practical course includes the acquisition of skills and knowledge:
· Yacht management during the day and night;
· Organization of relationships in the crew; preparation for going to sea, verification of basic safety systems and means (safety briefing);
· Gaining experience of night transitions;
· Receiving and practical analysis of weather forecasts, transition planning, taking into account the information received;
· Rescue on water;
· Storming technique;
· Mooring to the berth with a log, bow and stern; approach and mooring in unfamiliar harbors, "wild" parking; anchoring.
