ROLEX GIRAGLIA
THE ROLEX GIRAGLIA REGATTA, WHICH IN 2019, CELEBRATES ITS 67TH ANNIVERSARY, INCLUDES ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS CRUISER RACES OF THE MEDITERRANEAN. ON THE EVE OF STARTING FROM SAN REMO, THE YACHTS ARRIVE IN THE LUXURY PORT OF SAINT TROPEZ, WHERE A SERIES OF COASTAL RACES ARE HELD FOR THREE DAYS. THEN THE YACHTS DEPARTURE TO THE RACE ON THE OPEN SEA WITH A DURATION OF 241 MARINE MILES. HER ROUTE GOES THROUGH THE ROCKY ISLAND OF JIRAL TO THE NORTH FROM CORSICA AND FINISHES THIS YEAR AT THE MONACO PORT.

The illustrious reputation of the Rolex Giraglia has been sculpted by the passion and persistent pursuit of excellence of those who take part together with the dedication and purposeful collaboration of the event’s established partners. The 2019 edition, the 67th uninterrupted annual running since 1953, provided a resounding demonstration of why the event has endured. Rolex, a supporter of yachting since the 1950s, has been a close and committed partner of the event since 1998.
The annual Rolex Giraglia has many facets. Part inshore series, part offshore race, it is organized and supported by distinguished yacht clubs, hosted in enticing locations and defined by a Corinthian spirit and intense, fair-minded competition. Its global standing has increased each year since its founding in 1953, as evidenced by the growth in fleet numbers and international span. The 67th edition takes place from 7–15 June 2019.
