Royal Weekend Race

Regatta is a sailing yacht competition consisting of a series of races. Participants are assigned to yacht crews. The task of the team is to cover the set distance, according to the rules of sailing races, with the help of an experienced skipper-instructor. Crews start at the same time and strive to finish earlier than their rivals.

The regatta is held every Tuesday on J / 70 class yachts.

Designed for both beginners and experienced yachtsmen.

The duration of the regattas together with the awarding ceremony is about 2.5-3 hours

Regattas are held on modern yachts of international class J / 70. Yachts will be of interest to experienced yachtsmen due to their high speed qualities, as well as to prepare for international starts.

At the same time, the yachts are perfect for those who are taking their first steps in sailing: the J / 70 are stable and stable on the water, easy to handle. What is important for beginners is keel yachts, which means that it is almost impossible to roll over on them.

The regattas are held in Moscow on the Pirogovskoye reservoir, on the territory of the Gals yacht club. It is convenient to get there both "on its own" and by car.

It is enough to take sports clothes that do not hinder movement - you can change clothes on the spot. We recommend that you check the weather forecast in advance - as a rule, it is a little cooler on the water and you should dress warmer. Shoes should be comfortable, athletic and, of course, no heels.

If it is very hot outside, we recommend taking sunscreen, a cap and sunglasses.
