Finish:Tórshavn, Faroe Islands
This summer we invite you to join a sailing expedition around the Faroe Islands. The Faroe Islands are Danish islands in the Atlantic Ocean between Iceland, Norway, and Scotland. This is a traveler's dream: beautiful northern nature, fjords, and waterfalls on rocks covered with greenery.
Every day we will go to new places, fish and land ashore - look at rocks, cities, and lighthouses, climb mountains, and watch birds. We will enjoy the picturesque nature and hospitality of the Faroese.
Why the Faroe Islands?
To enjoy nature
The Faroe Islands are sometimes called the archipelago of freedom, sometimes a social utopia. The most famous Faroese waterfall, which falls directly into the ocean, is called in Faroese - "The most beautiful waterfall" (Mulafossur Waterfall). We will see everything with our own eyes.

Torshavn is the capital of the Faroe Islands. It is a small town with narrow streets and colorful houses with grassy roofs. It is also the largest hub in the North Atlantic.
TORSHAVN >>> NOLSOY >>> KLAKSVIK
You can go directly to Klaksvik, but we will drop by Nolsoy Island to listen to music in the grottoes.
Every summer, local and visiting musicians play here in the caves - it's impossible to miss this. After that, we will sail to Klaksvuik - the second largest city in the archipelago.
KLAKSVIK >>> FUNNINGUR
The trip to the village of Funningur is among picturesque fjords with steep banks.
Among the main attractions of the village is an old wooden church from 1847 with a peat roof, located at the very edge of the water. Many trekking routes start from here, we will go for a walk along one of them.
FUNNINGUR >>> Eiði
Eiði village is located on the northwestern tip of Eysturoy Island. Its name is translated from Faroese as "isthmus".
Near Eiði there is the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands: Slattaratindur (882 meters). After lunch, we will climb to its top, and see an indescribable view of the bay and the surrounding mountains from there.
Eiði >>> VESTMANNA
Vestmanna is located on the largest and longest island of the Faroe - Streimoy. From here it is easy to get to the main attractions: Kirkjubøur and Saksun.
Kirkjubøur is an ancient religious and cultural center of the archipelago's life, and Saksun is a famous village, the landscapes of which are mesmerizing at first sight.
VESTMANNA >>> SANDAVAGUR
We will have a trekking to lake Sørvágsvatn - "a lake hanging over the ocean."
It is located on the edge of a small plateau several tens of meters above the ocean, and the Bösdealafossur waterfall falls from the very edge. To see it, you have to climb the rocks at the southern end of the lake, but it's worth it.

We will sail back to the home marina in Torshavn.
