Sailing expedition to the Lofoten Islands. Week 3

In summer, we will go on an expedition on a sailing yacht to the Lofoten Islands. We will admire nature from the water and from the ground, go trekking to the Trollfjord, see mountain lakes, waterfalls and picturesque Norwegian villages, catch fish for lunch and try to find whales.

This time we came up with a completely new route with three parts. You can sign up for one week, or even two at once, to see more of the fantastic northern beauty.

June 19 - 26 (Tromsø - Svolver)

June 26 - July 3 (Start and finish in Svolver)

July 3 - 10 (Svolver - Tromsø)

August 1 - 8 (Start and finish in Svolver)

8 - 15 August (Start and finish in Svolver)

Why the Lofoten Islands?

Northern nature

The Lofoten Islands are about space landscapes, fjords, sheer cliffs, cozy fishing villages, and almost untouched nature. All this is very different from the southern part of the country with large cities and many tourists.

A chance to see whales

Our skipper is an experienced whale hunter. At almost every point on our route, he knows where to find them and how to get as close as possible to them on a yacht. Take a camera and let's go!

Trekking of varying difficulty

We have prepared several trekking routes for you - from the simplest to those requiring some preparation. We will walk along the slopes, see mountain lakes, and enjoy the views of the archipelago from above.

We will visit towns, small fishing villages and different islands, fish and watch whales.

    DAY 2

    SVOLVAER >>> TROLLFJORD

Trollfjord is considered the narrowest and most picturesque fjord in Norway. It is a two-kilometer bay, 100 meters wide, sandwiched between high cliffs. You can trek to the fjord; at the top, you will find a beautiful mountain lake, along which small icebergs drift. It is also home to the largest family of white-tailed eagles (the wingspan of these birds reaches 3 meters).

    DAY 3

Those who wish can go on a simple track to the mountain lake.

    DAY 4

    HENNES >>> BLEIK

On this day, we will trek uphill for about 4-5 hours. There are two routes to choose from in this track: the upper one is a little easier and suitable even for beginners, and for the most courageous there is a very beautiful but difficult road along the sea. From here you can see the cliffs going into the sea and the island where puffins live.

From the marina, boats go to the island with dead ends (without going on the ground).

    DAY 5

    BLEIK >>> HAMN

It is a small and very picturesque marina. There are two piers for large boats and small piers at a local hotel. In Hamn, you can walk to the old nickel mine and the lighthouse, and there you can climb the mountain with several easy routes.

There is a book for visitors to the lighthouse on a post by the lighthouse in a green mailbox. Here you can also write something
