Scandinavia in summer will impress you with medieval towns, modern architecture, hygge and Nordic landscapes. The journey is suitable for beginners, but experienced yachtsmen will not be bored too. The crossings will take 5-6 hours a day on average.
We will start from Germany and sail to Denmark, to see the islands, natural parks and, of course, Copenhagen. There we will sail on a yacht right through the city center. And on the way, we will stop at Swedish Malmö and finish in Gothenburg. The second part of the trip starts from Gothenburg. We will sail to Norway and in a week we will be in Stavanger, our final point. Our Norwegian expedition starts from Stavanger.

DAY 1 STAVANGER Stavanger is the oil capital of Norway. Walk around the old town or watch the modern Norwegian architecture, stroll along the seaside shops or have a picnic by one of three lakes: Breiavatnet is in the very center, Mosvatnet and Stokkavatnet are a short distance from the city limits. Arrival at the marina. Check-in on the boat after lunch. Meeting the team. Going to local supermarkets for groceries

DAY 2 STAVANGER >>> EGERSUND Egersund is a city in the southernmost part of Rogaland County, mentioned in the Heimskringla saga. In the center of Egersund, there is some of Norway's best-preserved wooden architecture. Not far from the city there are several places for beautiful walks - Magma UNESCO Global Geopark: an open-air geological park, the popular Trollpikken mountain formation, and Stoplesteina, a stone circle that is more than a thousand years old. Egersund has one of the finest natural harbors in Norway. The crossing is 60 miles (about 10 hours)

DAY 3 EGERSUN >>> FLEKKEFJORD Flekkefjord is a small seaside town in the very south of Norway, located right in the Flekkefjord fjord. Hollenderbyen, the Dutch quarter, is an amazing combination of traditional white wooden houses and vibrant modern graffiti. In the city, you can ride on the old railway, on specially made railway bicycles. They can accommodate two adults and can carry one adult or two children as a passenger. The trip starts in the city center at the former train station, from one of the 17 tunnels along the route. The crossing is 30 miles (about 5 hours).

DAY 4 FLEKKEFJORD >>> KRISTIANSAND Kristiansand is the sunniest city in Norway, founded by King Christian IV in the 17th century. The old town has a lot of traditional architecture, and more than 150 old ships are moored at the town dock. Within the walls of the city fortress, exhibitions of local artists are held in summer, and not far from the city there is an open-air ethnographic museum Kristiansand. Inside, there are forty fully furnished historic buildings: residential buildings, shops, and artisan workshops. It is also worth stopping by Direparken - the largest zoo and amusement park in Norway. There are rides, theme parks, and a huge zoo where you can see northern animals in their natural habitat, as well as endangered animals from Africa and Asia. The crossing is 70 miles (about 12 hours).

DAY 5 KRISTIANSAND >>> ARENDAL Arendal is one of the largest ports in Norway, located at the mouth of the Nid Elv River. It is a calm Norwegian town with architectural monuments of the 17th – 19th centuries, surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes. In Arendal, visit the Clocker House Museum. It tells about the history and culture of the city through the history of a court family. The construction of the house stretched over three centuries, the 17th – 19th centuries, and the exposition also covers them. Fun Fact: The Clocker House has the world's largest collection of model ships in glass bottles. Be sure to visit the museum shop - here you can buy sweets and preserves according to old Norwegian recipes, historical photographs, and periodicals. The crossing is 35 miles (about 6 hours).

DAY 6 ARENDAL >>> SMÖGEN Smogen is one of the most picturesque fishing villages in the Bohuslän archipelago. There are many summer cottages, Swedes come here for weekends and vacations: fishing, swimming, grilling freshly caught seafood, and having fun in local bars. We will take a walk around the city - local wooden houses and a long pier will definitely appear on your Instagram. We'll shop for food in small craft shops in old fishing huts and try Smegenrora shrimp sandwiches in one of the waterfront restaurants. At the end of the wooden pier, there is a special swimming place - Vallevik, where you can sunbathe on the rocks or jump into the cool water. The crossing is 80 miles (about 14 hours).
DAYS 7 AND 8 SMÖGEN >>> GOTHEBORG Gothenburg is the second-largest city and the cultural capital of Sweden. The city was founded in the 17th century but actively developed during industrialization. Here, of course, there are castles and moats, but there are also many monuments of industrial architecture and modern buildings. We recommend to walk along the central boulevard Avenue and visit the Museum of Art to see the works of Scandinavian modernists who never leave Sweden - Kroyer, Munch, and Larsson. Check-out from yachts the next day before 09:00. If you wish, you can continue your journey through Sweden The crossing is 56 miles (about 10 hours).
