Heineken Regatta - a magnificent Caribbean regatta with the best entertainment!
The international amateur race Heineken Regatta starts from the Caribbean island of Saint-Martin. Organizes and conducts a regatta French-Dutch consultation. The first time the regatta was organized by St. Maarten Yacht Club in 1980. Since 1983 Heineken has become the main sponsor. Since then, every March the island receives more and more guests. Every year, about 300 crews from more than 35 countries compete for the Heineken Cup. This amateur sailing regatta is rightfully considered the largest in the Caribbean.
Boats of various classes (CSA Monohull, Bareboat, Multihull, Lottery) and sizes (from 36 to 90 feet) take part in the Heineken Regatta. The regatta is held in 18 credit groups, depending on the characteristics of the participating yachts.
Heineken Regatta is considered an example of the organization of amateur regattas: an excellent organization, rich entertainment and cultural programs. In addition to the main sponsor of the regatta, the Heineken brewing company, the regatta is supported by many other partner companies.

In addition to gambling competition days, the participants of the regatta are waited every evening with unforgettable parties with the participation of local and foreign artists. Incendiary music, original repertoire, professional lighting, and of course, the world famous Heiniken beer - all these are Heineken Regatta parties. Heineken regatta parties are already famous all over the island of Saint-Martin, because such famous artists as Black Eyed Peas, UB40 featuring Ali, Astro & Mickey, Akon, Wyclef Jean, Shaggy, The Commodores and Red Foo performed at them. The organizers have not yet announced this year's participants, but we know for sure that you will not be disappointed.
Location
In 2020, the regatta celebrates its 40th anniversary. All participants will have 4 exciting competitive days and unforgettable parties every evening. In addition to the competition, you can see the interesting French-Dutch island of San Martin.
