Try Sailing Course

This is a 3 to 4-hour course that gives an introduction to sailing. The course takes place in coastal waters <5 miles offshore during daylight hours in mild winds and suitable conditions.

At the end of the course, you will receive emotions, experience, and your first Log Book with a record of the completed miles.

Practice: 3 hours

• Basic Safety Equipment
• The layout of the vessel
• Basic Desc Equipment
• How Sail Work & Rigging
• Points of Sailis and Basic Sailing Terms
• Basic Sail Handling Skills
• Basic Ropework

Recommended enrty-level requirements:

 - at least 10 years of age

Certificate limitations:

• Crewing a vessel (monohull or catamaran) up to 15 meters
• Inland or coastal waters <5 miles offshore
• Daylight hours
• Moderate wind and sea conditions

Course can also be organized by request for teams of 3 or more people
