Saturday. Marmaris.
Our trip starts in the Marmaris marina. In the city, everything is dynamic, clear and very compact. Parallel to the embankment there is Ataturk Boulevard, along which you can walk to the city center, where there is a monument to Ataturk. The lively city center, the singing fountain, the remains of the fortress walls of the ancient city of Fiskos, the Grand Bazaar, the largest dance floor in Turkey ... In a word, there is much to see. But first, the most important thing: safety briefing, buying food for the trip and settling on the yacht.
Marmaris - Ciftlik.
Today we will go to one of the most uncrowded resorts in the Marmaris region - to the quiet Chiftlik Bay. This place is considered one of the greenest in all of Turkey. Pure water at the confluence of two seas, inviting sandy beaches ... Perhaps this is the ideal place to enjoy a secluded evening in a fish restaurant. Moreover, we have a busy and very interesting day: your skipper is ready to share his knowledge and give a workshop on working with sails.
Ciftlik - Bozukkale.
For the fourth millennium, the ships have been heading for the picturesque bay of Buzukkale, which literally means "the ruins of the fortress". Sheltered by the long coast of the peninsula, it amazes by its untouched nature and crystal-clear water. In the afternoon we will have a picnic at the fortress, which offers a beautiful view of the Greek Rhodes. Guitar, bonfire, romance!
Bozukkale - Knidos.
Between the valleys of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, Mesopotamia was born - the cradle of civilization. One of the countries that emerged on the lands of the legendary Mesopotamia was Turkey - a country with a very ancient and rich history. Today we will wake up with the first rays of the sun and go to the Knidos peninsula, mentioned in the songs of Homer and the writings of Herodotus.
Knidos - Datca.
As true lovers of sailing, we have no right to ignore the so-called "Turkish Riviera". On the Datca Peninsula, there are more than fifty bays with clear waters. Many beaches have been awarded the Blue Flag and are considered the most beautiful in Turkey, and the number of yachts is approaching the popular European resorts.
Datca - Serce Limani.
Serce Limani is almost a secret place! The serpentines of the roads gliding along the steep mountain slopes seem to drag you straight to the end of the world. Mountain goats walk on the steep cliff walls. Palm trees with huge bunches of dates grow right in the courtyards.
TranSerce Limani - Marmaris.
We will come back to where our Turkish journey began. Marmaris is a very beautiful city where you can take a leisurely stroll through the dusty streets and try to integrate into the local way of life. It seems that everything here is so cozy and orderly, everything is easy and consistent with the measured flow of time. We will meet the sunset on the embankment, breathe the salty smell of the sea with the scent of coniferous forests. And if we want we will go to a Turkish disco!
