On the programme:
- an in-depth study of navigation
- work with tide and current charts
- night navigation
- storm sailing
- Sail set up for heavy winds (storm trysail and storm jib)
- Mast breakage management
- rough weather drifting, big wave practice
- theory and practice of passing the squall
- skipper and crew handling in rough seas
- positioning on a floating anchor and drogue (version of floating anchor)
- practising special exercises: "Man overboard" under sail, "Man overboard" at night
