Everyone here is on the same level, whether you come with flip-flops or a private jet we are here for the sailing.
We help and respect each other; we work as a team using the skills that we possess for the benefit of the team.
We get satisfaction doing something we love.
At the end of the trip, we take with us lovely memories and hopefully friendships.
If you are looking for opportunities to sail anywhere and everywhere over the coming years. I'm looking to build lifelong friendships with other like-minded people in the sailing world.
must like being on a boat and have a real sense of adventure like to sail, explore and enjoy the life on a boat in beautiful places Reliable, good-humored, you must enjoy sailing and traveling in limited comfort (this is an old magnificent boat ...) You must be of good company. Experience is welcome but if you are not...as long as you are fit.
Using a sailing boat is like running a company. Yacht type sailboats can be used with at least 2*6 to*12 people. There is a team work. There is a leader in the team and everyone obeys the word of that leader. Each of the team is in an important position individually. If a person makes a mistake, the boat may deviate off course or even capsize. It can collapse in companies that are not well managed. The General Manager is the leader and the executive members are the rings of the company. Just as a storm can break out at sea, companies can be caught in storms by economic crises. In this case, the leader must be able to make quick decisions, keep the motivation of the staff high, and manage stress management well. In sailing, especially in team races, the leadership qualities of the lowest level employee can be measured by constantly changing the leader.
Model:BLOCK ISLAND 40
Manufacturer:BLOCK ISLAND 40
Block Island 40 classic sailboat the boat is BILL TRIPP S famous design. The yacht was built by American Boatbuilding co. in East Greenwich RI. Designed by Bill Tripp, Block Island 40 is a classic in every sense, with one of the most perfect sheer lines ever put to paper. Her graceful counter and raked transom turn heads in every harbor. Originally designated as a Vitesse Class yawl and first commissioned in 1957, the BI 40 has been in and out of production up until 1990s. This almost half-century of production is a testament to the timelessness of her design. The BI 40?s speed and ability were recognized by sailors early on and BI 40s won 6 of 11 places in the 1960 Newport to Bermuda Race, I purchased the boat with the intention to learn as i go.
I also own a 32 Ft Bayliner motorboat on Lake Mead Nevada USA , since 2015 & in 2016, took the ASA BASIC KEAL certification on Lake Mead. In 2017 I purchased my sailboat out of Miami and with a captain sailed to Key West. From there I sailed with a Captain and crew on a 5 day trip to Isla Mujeres MX, where the boat has been since. and use the boat for day trips.
