Finish:Venice, Metropolitan City of Venice, Italy
At the end of May, we will sail on a sailing yacht from Croatia to Venice - to the 17th International Architecture Biennale. On the way, we will swim, sunbathe, and then we will sail to Venice from the water and live on a yacht in the city center next to Giardini - the place where the Central Pavilion of the Biennale is located and where the Russian pavilion will be presented.
Your captain on the yacht will be not just an experienced skipper, but an architect who will tell you a lot of interesting things along the way and arrange a tour of the Biennale in Venice itself.
The journey will have 2 stages, each lasting a week, you can join any of them.
The first stage - May 22 - 29 - we will leave Pula, Croatia, for three days we will be sailing past the islands and reserves of the Istrian region, and after a night crossing, we will find ourselves in Venice, where we will spend several days.
The second stage - May 29 - June 5 - we will begin our journey with the architectural biennale in Venice, and in a few days we will sail to Croatia along the same route and finish in Pula.
from €1,150 / 8(8) days / 1pers.
Arrival, transfer to Pula Marina, Croatia.
Check-in on the boat after lunch.
Meeting the team.
Pula is the largest city, cultural and tourist center of Istria. Pula was founded by the ancient Greeks, then they were replaced by the Romans, but the Venetians, who controlled it for 600 years, had the greatest influence on the appearance of the city. We definitely recommend visiting the fruit and fish markets.
PULA >>> ROVINJ
Rovinj is one of the most beautiful cities in the Istrian region. Its ancient part is located on a hill to the north of the marina. There is the Cathedral of St. Euphemia.
It's hard to say what is more beautiful here - the panorama of the sea and islands from the top of the hill or the view of Rovinj rising out of the water on the left side of the yacht.
ROVINJ >>> BRIJUNI
The Brijuni archipelago is the most beautiful nature reserve in Croatia. We will pass it on a yacht, swim in the clear sea, and watch beautiful sunsets.
In the Brijuni archipelago, you can meet wild animals walking freely around the reserve and many beautiful trees: oaks, laurels, rosemary. The rocks here are of an interesting white color, which makes them very similar to marble.
BRIJUNI >>> VENICE
We'll buy groceries and prepare for the night crossing from Croatia to Italy - in the morning we will be already in Venice.
The crossing will be 55 miles. If you want to get an interesting experience, then you can keep a night watch with the skipper and learn a lot about the yacht and the nuances of long voyages.
We will walk around Venice and visit an important event in modern European culture - the 17th International Architecture Biennale.
Tickets for two days are already included in the price of our trip, and your captain, an architect, will be with us at the expositions and will help you better understand everything you see.
The last day of our trip. Check out from the yacht after 9:00.
If you wish, you can continue your journey across Italy.
