Bareboat Skipper theoretical course

20 hours of video lessons, 10 theoretical modules and 13 homework assignments.

Convenient format: watching lessons on a flexible schedule whenever you have time.

Training plan: yacht arrangement, ship management, navigation, basics of meteorology, IMO and maritime conventions, maritime communications and other modules.

Lectures alternate with solving practical problems. Follow-up tests are required to obtain a course completion certificate.

You will receive: video recordings of lectures, online meetings with feedback from the teacher, practice on real-life examples, find like-minded people and participate in an online regatta. After completing the course you can proceed to practical training to obtain an international skipper license.

To obtain the Bareboat Skipper license upon completion of the theoretical course you must complete a practical course. Applicants are required to have 200 miles of maritime experience, 10 days on board, or a weekly Competent Crew course previously completed.
