Azores expedition
We start selling the places for expeditions to the Azores in the summer of 2020, while there is an opportunity to buy inexpensive tickets.
WHAT IS A YACHT EXPEDITION
For 8 days you will turn from a tourist into a real sailor, become a crew member, will be trained in yachting (in Russian and English).
We will have every chance to see whales and dolphins, perhaps they will accompany our boat on this voyage.
Our yacht is Jeanneau Sun Odissey 49. This is not a charter yacht, but we own it. The conditions are excellent: each cabin has its own shower and toilet. In the marinas where we will spend the nights, there are comfortable showers, toilets, restaurants, shops, wi-fi. We will cook breakfasts ourselves, eat lunches and dinners at restaurants or cafes or cook them on board ourselves.
Our voyage includes two island tours. The Azores are located right in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. You will need to fly to the island of Faial, Marina Horta, and here the adventure will begin! The return flight is also from the island of Faial.

The beginning of our voyage on the island of Horta. Check-in on a yacht, meeting other crew members, purchase of products.
- Jun 20, 2020
We will sail to the island of Sao Jorge, Marina das Velas. We’ll stay overnight on the island.
- Jun 21, 2020
Excursions around the island of Sao Jorge, visiting coffee plantations, cheese factories, wild lagoons, and other attractions. Staying overnight at Sao Jorge.
- Jun 22, 2020
Early in the morning we will sail to the Pico Island and anchor there. Those who wish can climb Mount Pico (the highest point in Portugal), others can fish or explore the island. In the evening, we will return to the boat and make a night crossing to the island of Terceira.

Arrival on the island of Terceira. Walks around the island, staying overnight on the island.

Sailing back to Faial, arrival in the evening.

Our expedition begins and ends on the island of Faial. We will visit the island of Sao Jorge, Pico, Terceira. We will finish our journey on the island of Faial. * The route may vary slightly depending on weather conditions.
