Start:Ugljan, Croatia
Finish:Zadar, Croatia
Thanks to the “Game of Thrones”, many people found out about the existence of Croatia, but its nature, the blue colors of the Adriatic, cozy cities, azure bays are worthy of the attention of not only fans of the series. On this tour, we will not visit Split and Dubrovnik but will go to more secluded towns and bays, where there are more empty places in the marina and fewer yachts in the area.
from €690 / 8(8) days / 1pers.
The island of Ugljan famous for its olive oil.
We will check-in on the yacht, and set up in the cabins. Then we will buy products that we will eat on board: fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and other goodies.
Then we’ll set off for the island of Ugljan, and swim along the way. We will moor in a small cozy town and go for a walk along the sea. We will have dinner with the whole team on board or in a local restaurant, where a wonderful waiter named Dushko works.
Pag island where the best cheese in Croatia is made.
We will swim before leaving the marina. By breakfast, we will have already be anchored in a beautiful bay, drink some Aperol and swim. We can make several such stops before our final destination - the island of Pag.
Pag cheese is said to be the best in all of Croatia. We need to make up our minds on this subject, so with a glass of local wine, we will definitely taste it.
Paradise bay with a wrecked ship.
Monday is a hard day, but not for us. Today we will stop in one of the most beautiful places on the planet, which, fortunately, not many people know about yet. This bay is a paradise without exaggeration. Think about it:
- Azure water surrounded by rocks.
- The wreck of a warship, next to which you can swim - it is very close to the surface, so you won’t have to dive deep.
- An amazing panorama from the observation deck: you can see our yacht, and the outlines of the sunken ship, and a beautiful bend of the bay.
And this is just an afternoon! After swimming, we will go to the town of Rab.
Rab
We will walk along the streets paved with cobblestones, past the Venetian style buildings - the town is very beautiful, famous for its four towers. We will show you a shop with eco-souvenirs and a restaurant where they serve delicious food. And for dessert, there will be a Rab cake. This is a treat of almond flour, orange zest, and other secret ingredients. The most delicious pastries are sold right next to the marina - we will buy some to eat in the morning.
The multi-colored embankment of the Mali Losinj.
Leaving the marina, we will pass by Rab to see its towers beautifully arranged.
On the way, we will stop at a small island. We get to swim to the shore and stepping on the island we will hear the screams of hundreds of seagulls. Eventually, they will become get used to you and their screams will become quieter, but before that, you can spend 5-10 minutes surrounded by these restless birds.
Today we will moor in Mali Losinj. The port will welcome us with colorful houses and unusual ships moored there. It is impossible to remain indifferent to this town: we will buy ice cream and wander among its streets.
Sunset at the highest lighthouse of the Adriatic
We will sunbathe on the deck under the Croatian sun.
On this tour, we will take you on an excursion into the old military bunkers. If you want to tickle your nerves take a flashlight and go through the tunnels and rooms that previously served the military goals of Yugoslavia and go out into the bunker for warships, hollowed out in the rock.
Then we will sail to Veli Rat. Here, there is the highest lighthouse in the entire Adriatic. We can climb up - the view is very beautiful!
We will watch the sunset somewhere nearby - we will prepare sandwiches for a small picnic and have a nice time in our friendly company.
Cosmic landscapes of the Kornati National Park.
Today we will enter the territory of the Kornati National Park, which consists of many islands. The color of the water changes several shades as you approach the shore. There is very little space between some islands, and not to run aground we will focus on red and green buoys.
Tonight, the stars will shine especially brightly, because there will be no other lights nearby. We will spend the night in a sheltered bay. On the shore, there are several family restaurants on the one hand, and several on the other, nothing more. But if we need something - tomatoes for a salad, or, say, homemade wine or raki, then the restaurant owners will readily sell them to us.
On the last evening before sailing back, we will listen to jazz, remember all the adventures we had, share our memories with people who have already become close, and dream of new travels.
Last crossing and a trip to Zadar.
Last day on the yacht. We will anchor wherever we want, sail into charming bays, dive with a mask - once in the Kornati we saw a shell that looked like a mussel, the size of 40 centimeters!
Before 16 o’clock we must return to the marina.
We will need to leave the boat before 9 in the morning.
On the last evening, we suggest going to Zadar! It is very close.
We will listen to how the waves play on the Sea Organ, look at the installation of Greeting to the Sun and wander through the typical Croatian city.
We will visit the most beautiful places in Croatia, which have not yet been reached by tourists. We will visit the island of Pag, which produces the best cheese in Croatia, see the colorful promenade of the town of Mali Losinj, take a picture next to the highest lighthouse on the Adriatic, and make many more interesting stops and trips.
