Carriacou
Carriacou is the largest island of the Grenadines. Carriacou has many bays and coves with cozy beaches. There are mountains in the central part of the island. You can go diving at Carriacou. There is an interesting coral reef near the island, which bends and takes on different shapes.
Petite Martinique
Petite Martinique is a small island about 5 km from Carriacou. The island itself is the peak of the extinct volcano Python, which is 230 meters above the sea level. The area of the island is less than 2.5 square kilometers. The only street with beaches and moorings for boats stretches along the coastline in the west and north of the island.
Union
The Union Island is the capital of the Grenadines. The island is covered with mountain ranges. Its length is only 5 km and its width is 2.5 km. The best pastime here, in addition to swimming in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean, is hiking around the island.
Tobago Cays
Tobago Cays is a marine reserve with lots of coral reefs and small islands. It will amaze you with clear water and unique sea creatures. If you didn’t like swimming with a mask before here you will definitely fall in love with it! Some episodes of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie were shot on one of the islands.
Canouan
Canouan Island is often called the "heart of the Grenadines." Here you will find the best Caribbean resorts. The landscapes of the island are truly beautiful - from white beaches to mountain peaks. On the island, there are excellent conditions for various water sports - diving, windsurfing, kayaking. There is also an international golf club and a yacht center.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The island of San Vincent is another island with beautiful nature and the active volcano La Soufriere with a height of 1234 meters. One of the favorite activities for tourists is climbing up the volcano. The capital city, Kingstown, is very beautiful and perfect for walks. St. Mary's Cathedral is built from dark volcanic blocks, and it is an amazing combination of Gothic, Moorish and Romanesque styles.
Saint Lucia
The island of St. Lucia is of volcanic origin, and thus, it is more mountainous than most other islands of the Caribbean. The central mountain range of Barr de L'Ile Ridge stretches along the entire island, from north to south. It ranges in height from 400 to 900 m. The highest point is Mount Jimi (950 m). In the Python range in the south-west there are three high points: Gros- Python - 797 m, Petit Python - 750 m, Morn-Bonin - 640 m. There are many signs of volcanic activity in the area - hot sulfur springs, eroded lava fields, gas outlets, sulfur deposits. About 400 species of plants grow on the island.
Martinique
The island of Martinique, the overseas department of France, is one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean. The capital of the island is the city of Fort de France.
