Tenerife carnival
Carnival in Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the second largest carnival in the world after the Rio de Janeiro carnival. About a million tourists from all over the world come here every year. The carnival lasts a week, and this is a real madness: costume fun with songs and dances, contests, concerts, and music shows for children.
We have prepared an exciting program for this week: excellent yachting, a visit to the island of La Gomera and, of course, the main events of the carnival!

- Feb 24, 2020
Check-in on the yacht at about 16:00, having dinner together, briefing, a night on the yacht in the marina.
- Feb 25, 2020
Sailing to Santa Cruz de Tenerife (If it is windy, we’ll postpone the voyage for the next day so as not to go against the wind and waves). In the city of Santa Cruz, there will be the main procession of the carnival. For the night, we will stay at the marina in the center of the city where the main events will be happening.
- Feb 26, 2020
Sailing to the south of Tenerife. We’ll stop for a swim, spend the night in the Las Gayetas marina, have dinner in a restaurant on the beach or on a yacht. In the morning we can buy fresh fish from the fishermen right in the marina.
- Feb 27, 2020
A voyage to the island of La Gomera, 5 hours. Along the way, we will most likely meet dolphins and small whales. In the evening, we will stay at the marina, and have dinner on the beach or on the yacht.

A day on the shore. We’ll rent a car and explore the island of La Gomera.
- Feb 29, 2020
Sailing to the west of the island of Tenerife where we stay for the night under the stars. It is possible to visit the famous Mask Gorge if the gorge is open by the date of our travel.
- Mar 1, 2020
We will wake up in the middle of the ocean, and have a swim. After a short voyage, we will be at the home marina, where there will be a farewell dinner in a fish restaurant on the beach or on a yacht.

Tired, but happy we will leave the boat at 9 in the morning.
Location
Tenerife carnival is one of the main events of the year on the island. It attracts thousands of tourists. It is possible to organize a visit to the «funeral of the sardine», which will be held on February 26. In addition to Tenerife, we will also visit the island of La Gomera.
