The Similan Islands is an archipelago in the Andaman Sea in southern Thailand. This national park is one of the ten most beautiful places in the world. The archipelago consists of 9 islands, each of which has a name and a serial number! The name Similan is translated as «nine,» but in 1998 two more islands became part of the national park and now there are 11 of them: Ko Huyong — No. 1, Ko Payang — No. 2, Ko Payan — No. 3, Ko Miang — No. 4, Ko Ha — No. 5, Ko Hok — No. 6, Ko Payu — No. 7, Ko Similan — No. 8, Ko Bangu — No. 9, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai.
We will go on a cruise along these islands and see the amazing nature of this part of the Earth. The Similan Islands are open for tourists only from November to April, and we have a unique opportunity to visit them. In addition, we will celebrate the New Year in this wonderful part of the planet. Sounds great, doesn’t it? If you have dreamed of celebrating the main holiday of the year in warm places with white sand and gentle sun, then this cruise is for you.

We go on a cruise to the Similan Islands — the unique national reserve of Thailand. Tourists can only land on two islands — number 4 and number 8. Fortunately, you can stay on a yacht near any of them, swim in the beautiful turquoise water and go diving (there is diving equipment on the catamaran).
The Similans are granite islands of volcanic origin. They are covered with lush vegetation, and the beaches have white sand. Hermit crabs, land crabs and flying foxes live there. And most importantly, there is gorgeous sea, the color of which is so bright that it blinds your eyes. You have probably seen it only in pictures, and now you can swim in it yourself!
We are finishing our voyage in the Adaman Sea and along the Similan Islands. We will leave the yacht but the Similan Islands will forever stay in our memories. But we can always come back, can’t we? The Similans are definitely worth it!
