    La Palma.

The island has two names: La Isla Bonita (Beautiful Island) and La Isla Verde (Green Island), and both fit it perfectly. This is the only island of the Canary Archipelago where there are rivers, although rather small. La Palma is the highest island in the world in proportion to its area. The height of the highest mountain, Roque de los Muchachos, is 2423 m above sea level, so the largest astrological observatory of the Northern Hemisphere is located on its top. There is a picturesque crater of the volcano, where we will definitely go by car.

Sailing 55 miles (9 hours) to El Hierro - the smallest and most southwestern island of the Canary Archipelago. Its area is 280 km². The island has the highest density of volcanoes in the Canaries. On the surface of the island of El Hierro, there are more than 500 craters, and another 300 are covered by lava flows. The landscapes of the island are exciting. You can get to interesting corners of the island taking small roads. Here we will spedn two days.

Sailing 50 miles (8 hours) to La Gomera. In the evening, we will walk along the promenade and watch the sunset. From San Sebastian marina in 2002, Fyodor Konyukhov went to cross the Atlantic on a rowing boat on his own. He sailed all the way to Barbados. And five centuries earlier, the equally famous ocean explorer Christopher Columbus started to search for the sea route to India from here, but accidentally discovered, as it turned out later, America.

To see the island, we will rent a car. Exploring La Gomera in one day by public transport, and especially on foot, is not possible. La Gomera was the last stop of Columbus before the opening of the New World. The islanders are extremely proud of this fact. Near the well, from where they took water for the expedition ships, there is a sign that says: "America was baptized with this water." We will walk around and take lots of fun pictures.

We will rent a car and go on exploring the largest island of the Canary Archipelago. Tenerife is one of the most amazing natural complexes of the Earth, where about 1200 species of plants grow, many of which are not found anywhere else on the planet. And even quite common species, such as pine or laurel, here are very different from their continental "relatives". The Internet says that "The north of the island is a haven for those who like quiet rest alone with nature": There are not many hotels alont the coast here. There is no noise and fuss that you will find in busy tourist centers. South Tenerife is a densely populated resort area. Here, there are clean beaches along the whole coast, and lots of entertainment for any taste.
