A cruise around Sardinia and Corsica

The island of Sardinia (Sardegna) is located in the Mediterranean Sea to the west of the Apennine Peninsula. Its area is just over 24 thousand square kilometers. Sardinia is part of Italy as an autonomous region, it is divided into 8 provinces, the administrative center is the city of Cagliari.

We will travel from Sardinia to the French island of Corsica.

Corsica is unlike any other place in the world: intergeneric ties are stronger here than laws, food is tastier than in Italy, and the sea is cleaner than on the French Riviera. Previously ruled by Pisa, Genoa, and France, Corsica today enjoys a special status. And it is special in everything: a mountain in the middle of the sea, an "island of beauty", Corsica is surprisingly diverse in terms of landscapes, and its relative freedom from tourists and industrial enterprises allows the island to remain one of the most precious pearls of the Mediterranean. The island is full of magnificent landscapes, beautiful bays, interesting sights, clean beaches, and Napoleon statues.
