Vacations in Greece, May 2 — 9, 2020

Check-in on the yacht at 17:00, meeting the team, buying food, dinner in a restaurant or on the yacht, safety briefing.

We will sail to Aegina Island and learn the basic elements of yacht management. We will study rigging, set sails, maneuver. Those who wish can steer the yacht with the guidance of a skipper. We will arrive on the island, prepare lunch, and after lunch, we’ll set off to watch the main attraction of the island — the Temple of Afaya. In the evening, we will have dinner in one of the coastal restaurants.

Sailing to Kelevini Islands. We will anchor in the picturesque isthmus between the Peloponnesian Peninsula and the island of Gali. We will enjoy a quiet and beautiful bay, and go to the shore in a motorboat. Then we’ll walk to the authentic church on the hill. Dinner on a yacht, staying on anchor overnight.

We will leave for the island of Hydra. We will moor in the marina of one of the most beautiful port villages in Greece, Hydra. This is an incredibly colorful island with no cars, and donkeys are one of the main vehicles. At the request of the team, we can walk around the town, go trekking or on a horseback riding tour. We will have lunch on a yacht or in one of the port cafes. Then there will be free time for walks in the narrow cozy streets of Hydra, and visiting souvenir shops. We will have dinner in a secret place and spend the night on a yacht in a marina.

Sailing to the island of Spetses. This is an island with a rich history, the Greeks themselves like to go on vacations here. It is famous as the birthplace of the heroine of the Greek War of Independence — Laskarina Bubulina. We will visit a museum dedicated to this woman, who was promoted to admiral of the fleet. Then there will be free time for walking around the city. We will have dinner on a yacht, or in one of the specially selected restaurants. We will spend the night on a yacht in a marina.

We will leave early in the morning and head to the island of Poros. We will moor in the marina of a small cozy coastal town. Then we’ll have lunch and go for tracking. We’ll climb up the hill with amazing and at the same time meditative views of the city, and the sea. We will walk along the picturesque path, admiring the sunset. Dinner on a yacht or in a cozy family tavern.

We will consolidate the yachting skills gained in a week. Upon returning to the marina, tired and happy, we will open the final bottle of champagne.
