About the event
The route from Athens to Bar is 350 nautical miles.
This voyage is a good practice for both the Bareboat Skipper Sail and the Yacht Master Coastal. We would recommend it to beginner skippers only if they had previous experience. In addition to the basic standard practical training program, here you will have the opportunity to have night shifts under the supervision of an experienced captain. You will learn how to plan the crossing, taking into account legal formalities: how to open and close borders, how to prepare all the documents, what you need to pay attention to. You will learn to plan marina stays, refueling and buying food.
Since the voyage is about 350 miles, and we will have a little more than a week, you will have enough free time to explore the cities and ports which we will visit. You will not regret if you arrive in Athens a little earlier, and fly away from Bar a little later, this is the starting and finishing point of our route.
Practical program. It can vary in complexity depending on the crew. But in any case, it can be suitable for all levels.

It is collected in cash by the skipper on the first day. It will be returned by the skipper in full if there is no damage. Any breakdowns / expenses are covered in equal proportions by all crew members

Location
You will have the opportunity to fly in and explore Athens before the start of the journey. There are regular flights to Athens from St. Petersburg, ticket prices are very affordable. From Bar, you will need to get to the airport in Tivat or Podgorica by taxi or public transport. You can get by taxi and public transport from the airport to the marina. The exact places of mooring will be known a few days before the trip.
