Sailing expedition to Kamchatka

To see many cool places, in Kamchatka, it is better to combine the ocean and land, so our expedition consists of two parts: we will see killer whales and sea lions, we will look for whales and land in small bays, fish and ride a SUP board, and then we will return ashore and climb an active volcano.

The journey will last eight days with the start and finish in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Direct flights fly from Moscow, transfer to the catamaran is included in the price, check-in on the catamaran on Sunday.

Why Kamchatka?

- Beautiful nature

Kamchatka is unique. There are 29 active volcanoes, and each, when erupting, slightly changes the landscape. There are glaciers and geysers, animals that you won't find elsewhere, crabs, salmon and other fish.

- Seeing Kamchatka from a different angle

The usual way to get around Kamchatka is an all-terrain vehicle. There are few roads and many places that can be reached only by water. On a catamaran, we can reach the most beautiful places.

-Looking for whales

In summer, Kamchatka whales swim close to the surface. They are shy and often go deeper after hearing the sounds of the engine. If we're lucky, we'll try to find the whales and get closer to them under sail.

    DAY 2

    RUSSIAN BAY AND CAPE KEKURNY

We will leave Avacha Bay early in the morning, a new view of the city and of the Three Brothers will open from the deck - the rocks that protect the bay from the tsunami, according to local legend. On the way to the Russian Bay, we will look for whales and killer whales.

The bay has a very special fauna. Here and in the surrounding area, you can meet sea lions, seals, and many different birds. We'll definitely get closer to observe the animals from a safe distance and take a bunch of cool photos. Here we can arrange sea fishing or go kayaking and SUP board, getting even closer to sea lions and seals.

    LISTVENICHNAYA BAY

On the shore of the bay, there is a lake of the same name - Listvenichnoye. There is a narrow spit between the lake and the bay. The bay is surrounded by rocky cliffs, which are easy to climb: the view is breathtaking.

Listvenichnoye lake is spawning. If spawning is already in full swing, we will be able to see millions of fish in the clear lake water.

    Day 6

    PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY - MUTNOVSKY VOLCANO

Mutnovsky is one of the most beautiful volcanoes in the south of Kamchatka. Here you can see the Martian landscape - sulfur fields, everything is smoking, sulfur fumaroles hiss, and in one of the craters there is a lake of pure turquoise color.

To climb Mutnovsky, no special training is needed - comfortable sports shoes and a willingness to walk 6 kilometers are enough. We have planned simple trekking, and then we will descend to one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Kamchatka, which is located in the Opasny canyon.
