If the wind is in your hearts, we invite you to join the crew of yachtsmen and sail both for fun and with practical benefit in the company of like-minded people. We are going on a voyage on sail-motor boats Alpha and Bravo (Sun Odyssey 439) from Palma de Mallorca (Spain) to Bar (Montenegro). We will work on improving yacht management skills and share interesting experience. You can join us for one or two weeks.
A skipper license is not required, but a minimum sailing experience (1-2 times) is needed.

Leaving Palma de Mallorca
Palma de Mallorca is not only for beach vacations, but also for those who enjoy natural and historical attractions. Mallorca is a center of cultural mixing, so here you can find everything from Gothic cathedrals to Arabic-style houses.
The Cathedral of St. Mary is the main cathedral not only of Palma, but of all the Balearic Islands. This is a wonderful example of Gothic architecture. The famous Antonio Gaudi worked on its interior.
Bellver Castle is a few kilometers from Palma. This is the only round Gothic structure in Spain. The castle stands on a hill and from the top there is a beautiful panorama of the bay.
Almudina Palace is the oldest royal palace in Spain. At one time it was an Arab fortress and the palace of the Moorish viziers. Now it is the residence of the Spanish king in Mallorca. Tourists can visit both the courtyard and the royal palace.
Art lovers must visit the Es Baluard Museum of Modern Art. The museum occupies the building of the ancient 16th century bastion. Now, in the museum collection there are works of art by such great artists as Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Joan Miró and others. From the observation deck of the museum there is a beautiful view of the city.

Arriving in Bar
Bar is the largest port in Montenegro. The city is divided into Old and New. The Old Bar is like an open-air museum that has preserved a large number of ancient structures. The oldest of them is the city gate of 10-11 centuries. The 17th-century Omerbashich mosque is also very well preserved. The main attraction of Bar is the palace of King Nikola. This palace complex consists of small and large palaces, as well as a winter and botanical garden.
The New Bar is located near the sea. It is a modern resort town. Along the coast there is the June 13th embankment, which is the favorite place of rest for townspeople and guests of the city. Bar is famous for its olive groves. In one of them there is a tree that is already 2000 years old. It is considered a symbol of the city.
