Start:Cienfuegos, Cuba
Finish:Cienfuegos, Cuba
The sailing festival is a fun "half-sports" competition that was created for us to remember our “pioneer” childhood.
You don’t need to have sailing experience to participate. But you must have shorts, a pioneer tie and a pioneer badge. And remember young pioneers songs! For the first time, we decided to spin the time machine in the opposite direction. And Cuba will help us! At the same time, we will plunge into the Caribbean reality.
So, this year there will be:
A mixture of “pioneer” childhood with lobsters, tuna, Hemingway books, the spirit of Chegevara, snorkeling, rum, convertibles and old Havana on sailing catamarans and yachts in the amazingly beautiful waters of the archipelago of Los Jardines de la Reina!
The program is created in such a way that you will have time both for sports and rest. This festival is not about sailing competitions! This is a fun vacation in the company of “pioneers”!

If you wish you can participate in a tour of Old Havana on old convertibles. It will start at about noon. There will be 4 hours of driving in convertibles, looking at beautiful places and listening to a story about the history of the city, and the mafia. And, of course, you can taste some drinks.

Cienfuegos
Arriving in Cienfuegos. After lunch we will check in on the yachts, buy food and go for a walk to the historic city center. We will see Hagua Castle and the residence of Punta Gorda. In the evening we will have dinner at the Cienfuegos Club near the marina.
Cayo Blanco de Casilda
We will leave the marina in the morning and sail to the first island of Cayo Blanco de Casilda. The voyage will be 40 miles and will take about 6 hours. There we’ll have swimming, diving, fishing, and relaxing on the beach. In the evening, there will be dinner at the beachfront restaurant. We’ll eat seafood paella and listen to Cuban music.
Cayo Macho de Afuera
8 miles of sailing. This is the best place for swimming with a mask and diving. There are albulas, whale sharks, giant lionfish in the sea. The water is clear and there is no jellyfish at all. We will land on an island with iguanas. There is a seafood restaurant on the beach with a disco.
Cayo Blanko de Zaza
10 miles of sailing. This is a very small but very beautiful island with a lighthouse and a beach full of shells. Free day on the island.
Trinidad
The city was founded on January 4, 1514 by Diego Velazquez.
Today it is a museum city - there are houses and churches built at the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. Since 1988, Trinidad has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will arrive at the port of Trinidad at around 16:00. In the evening, we will go for a walk to the city and have dinner in a typical Cuban restaurant. After dinner, we will go to Casa de la Musica, taste Cuban cocktails and listen to open-air music.
Trinidad
Another day in Trinidad. We will have excursions to the mountains, waterfalls and the valley of sugar mills. The evening will be free.
Cienfuegos
Sailing back to Cienfuegos. The main entertainment for us this day is, of course, fishing, especially for barracuda. We also plan to catch bonito and dorado, and if we're lucky - marlin. Hemingway wrote about this fish in his book “The Old Man and the Sea”.
