Try Sailing course

The course takes place in coastal waters <5 miles offshore during daylight hours in mild winds and suitable conditions.

At the end of the course, you will receive emotions, experience, and your first Log Book with a record of the completed miles.

Theory: 1-hour

Practice: 3 hours

All school instructors have comprehensive personal background as captains and sailors, as well as teaching experience. Each instructor has ISSA accreditation.

can also be organized by request for teams of 3 or more people.

Course outline

• basic safety equipment
• the layout of the vessel
• basic deck equipment
• how sail work & rigging
• points of sails and basic sailing terms
• basic sail handling skills
• basic ropework

Scope of course:

 - 3 to 4-hour course, on board, covering theory and practical subjects

Recommended entry-level requirements

 - at least 10 years of age

Cerificate limitations:

- crewing a vessel (monohull or catamaran) up to 15 meters

- inland or coastal waters <5 miles offshore

 - daylight hours

 - moderate wind and sea conditions
