Arriving at the port of Genoa
In the 15th century, Genoa was the main sea gate of Europe, and this influenced the development of the city. In 1992, the "Old Port" was built here - a walking area with the Sea Museum and the Aquarium. The main attractions of the Old Town of Genoa are the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the house of Columbus, and the Church of St. Ambrosius, where you can see paintings of the great Rubens.
Loano
Loano is a small Italian resort town with nice beaches. One of the symbols of Loano is the castle of Via del Castello Dei Doria, built on a hilltop in 1263. Now, the castle has a hotel, a museum, and a conference room.
San Remo
San Remo is called the "City of Flowers." There are many greenhouses in the city, and flower fragrances will accompany you everywhere. Visit Alfred Nobel’s villa and check out the San Remo Casino, which was built in 1905 and is still operational. And the real pearl of the city is the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, or the Russian Church, designed by architect Schusev.
Menton
Menton is situated between Monaco and the Italian Riviera. This is the most western resort of the Cote d'Azur. This is a picturesque resort city, an amphitheater descending to the sea. Menton is the only European city where lemon trees bloom and bear fruit all year round. The old town with narrow streets and gardens is the most attractive place of Menton.
Napoule (Cannes)
Napoule is called the capital of mimosa. The town is situated near Cannes. We will stop in Napoule and will also be able to visit the famous Cannes - take a walk along the Croisette, and see the famous Palais des Festivals, where the Cannes Film Festival takes place.
Frejus
Frejus is a popular resort in Provence. It has the status of the “City of Arts and Culture”. Apart from the beautiful beaches, the city is interesting for its historical sights - the Cathedral of St. Leontius of the 12th century, and the 5th-century Baptistry. From the Roman era, the ruins of fortifications, an amphitheater, and aqueduct have been preserved.
Saint-Tropez
Saint-Tropez is one of the most picturesque coastal towns where the famous world stars often stay. This place is considered the most expensive and luxurious on the entire Cote d'Azur. On the promenade, you can see not only beautiful landscapes but also elegant shops, various workshops, cozy cafes. The old port is the main attraction and visiting card of Saint-Tropez. It was destroyed during the Second World War and completely restored later. Over the port, there is the Château Suffren, which began to be built at the end of the 10th century.
Port Grimaud
Port Grimaud is located on the coast of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. The town resembles Venice with its houses, which are built on the water canals. Boat moorings are located right next to the houses’ doors.
Porquerolles
Porquerolles Island is the largest of the Golden Islands. The island is very clean and environmentally friendly - 75% of the territory is occupied by a national park. Porquerolles has three wineries that produce the famous Provencal wines.
Arriving in Toulon
Toulon is located between the sea and the mountains. Mount Faron with a height of 584 meters rises above the city. You can go to the top with a cable car. The view is magnificent - to the harbor and the peninsula of Saint-Mandriere. In the city center, there is the main square with the Town Hall. There are many classic French buildings in the area. One of the main attractions of the city is the Royal Tower, built in the 15th century. This is a round fort that is half-submerged in the sea.
