Sailing Weekend in Istanbul and the Bosphorus

Istanbul is a large metropolis with a great history. It is surrounded by the Sea of Marmara and the Black Sea. The Bosphorus Strait divides the city into European and Asian parts. Nearby there are beautiful Princes' Islands. We invite you to learn yachting in Istanbul, look at the city from the Bosphorus, visit historical and cultural sights before or after the course. In the evenings, we will go to good restaurants with delicious cuisine.

WHO THE TRAINING IS FOR: for beginners who want to start sailing, and have a comfortable first experience. For those who want to see Istanbul from the Bosphorus Strait, visit the Princes' Islands, and spend the weekend combining studies and entertainment.

THE TRAINING PROGRAM INCLUDES:

• What is on the yacht, how to live on it, personal safety.

• Preparing the yacht and a crew to leave the marina

• Introduction to sailing safety

• General understanding about the mooring of the yacht, leaving the marina

• The work during mooring and unmooring

• The work with rigging and ropes

• Setting and putting away sails

• Working with mainsail and staysail
