Tuesday Warm-Up Race

Regatta - a competition on sailing yachts, consisting of a series of races. Participants are assigned to crews of yachts. The task of the team is to go the specified distance, according to the rules of sailing, in which an experienced skipper instructor will help you. Crews start at the same time and strive to finish before rivals.

The regatta is held every Tuesday on class J / 70 yachts . Racing is designed both for people first time trying yachting, and for people with experience. At the end of the season, the first-place team will receive valuable prizes from PROyachting partners and the challenge cup.

Regattas are held on modern yachts of international class J / 70. Yachts will be interesting for experienced yachtsmen due to their high speed qualities, as well as with the aim of preparing for international launches.

At the same time, yachts are perfect for those who take their first steps in sailing: the J / 70 are stable and stable on the water, and easy to navigate. What is important for beginners is keel yachts, which means it is almost impossible to roll over on them.

Regattas are held in Moscow at the Royal Yacht Club, located at the Vodny Stadium metro station.

It is enough to take sports clothes that do not constrain movement - you can change clothes on the spot. We recommend that you watch the weather forecast in advance - as a rule, it’s a bit cooler on the water and you should dress warmer. Shoes should be comfortable, athletic and, of course, no heels.

If it is very hot outside - we recommend taking sunblock, a cap and sunglasses.
