Start:Fethiye, Muğla, Turkey
Finish:Bodrum, Muğla, Turkey
We are going on a two-week cruise to Turkey and invite you to join us! We will spend the first week in Fethiye. The area here is very beautiful: on the one hand — the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, on the other — the mountain slopes of Taurus. The weather in May is already comfortable enough to swim. We will have the opportunity to see Fethiye and neighboring cities, swim in the warm sea and have a great time on a yacht.
In the second week we will sail from Fethiye to Bodrum. Comparing to calm and quiet Fethiye, Bodrum is a real party resort. There are bars, nightclubs and discos at every corner. Bodrum is situated on the site of the ancient city of Halicarnassus. The modern city combines history and modernity. And you can see all the most interesting places in this part of the Turkish coast with your own eyes.
from €700 / 8 days / 1pers.
In Fethiye, take a walk along the promenade, which starts at the yacht marina and stretches along Ataturk Street. There are many cafes where you can enjoy delicious Turkish cuisine: from kebab to baklava, and of course Turkish coffee. There are also many souvenir shops on the promenade. An interesting attraction of Fethiye is its fish market. The atmosphere here is incredible.
Not far from Fethiye there is the village-museum of Kayakoy. There are thousands of dilapidated houses that are under state protection. A Greek church has been preserved in Kayakoy — it is very beautiful, with marble ornaments and mosaics. Here you will also have the opportunity to buy souvenirs from Turkish artisans.
There is Oludeniz Bay near Fethiye. It attracts with its beaches and turquoise sea. People also come here to enjoy water sports. And just a walk along the promenade is a great pleasure. But the most interesting thing is to climb the mountains and look down on the bay. The views are worth it!
Bodrum consists of two parts — eastern and western. If you are looking for parties then you should go to the eastern part. In the western part, there is a marina and a yacht club. Visit St. Peter’s Castle, which is visible from any part of the city. It was built back in 1437. Now it houses an interesting Museum of Underwater Archeology. It stores artifacts found in the water.
There is an amphitheater in Bodrum dating back to the 4th century BC, where festivals and open-air concerts are now being organized.
As for natural attractions, Black Island is located near the coast. It is famous for healing mineral and mud springs.
We will sail from Fethiye to Bodrum and will have enough time to get to know these places better.
