Yachting in the Ionian Sea around the Greek Islands

Today our adventure will start! You will take the first careful steps in your own cabin. The journey that you have been waiting for is finally here! We will buy food, set up in the cabins, get used to life on the yacht. In the evening, we will go out for dinner with the whole team or cook on board. We will forget about everyday worries and get ready for a bright vacation.

A lucky city in the Venetian style

The city of Fiskardo was the only one that survived the earthquake in Kefalonia 60 years ago. And we are extremely happy about it! A cute city with well-kept buildings of all colors - and it all looks so harmonious! If you are into photography, then your Instagram will be filled with a dozen different pictures! We will walk to Foki beach - deserted and with clear water. And then we will come back to choose a restaurant for dinner.

Argostoli - the capital of Kefalonia

On the way to the next place, we will stop at the beach with an unearthly color of azure water! Perhaps you have never seen one like this before! It is difficult to reach this beach from the shore, and there are not so many yachts in the area, so there will be no crowds.

Then we will have a walk along the streets of the Greek city with fruit and souvenir shops. When it gets dark, we’ll go to the dam to watch the lights of the night Argostoli.

Rum? No, wine in the smugglers' bay!

You have probably seen it many times in advertising photos. Once smugglers fleeing from persecution left their ship with cigarettes and wine. They hid, and the ship was eventually brought ashore Navajo Bay, which is now shrouded in a pirate spirit. We’ll check to see if the ship is still in place - because it was carried ashore by a storm and it can one day be taken away.

At first glance, it seems that the attraction is too advertised, but the bay deserves it 100%!

Driving around Zakynthos

After spending the night in the city of Zakynthos, we highly recommend getting up before dawn: with a cup of coffee in your hands, catch the first rays of the sun near the lighthouse.

After that, there is time to walk around the Zakynthos. Locals call it Zante - as a good friend. When the first bakeries open, buy local pastries there - they are divine! And let’s get into the car - we have a lot to do!

We will drive into the park with raccoons and other representatives of the flora and fauna of Zakynthos. On the way, we’ll stop at the beach for a swim. We will go to the factory where they make olive oil. We’ll try local liquors. And we’ll see the sunset in a pleasant restaurant on the other side of the island.

Yachting fun and spending the night under the stars

Tonight we will anchor in the wild bay of Ithaca.

On the way there we will stop to swim and have some fun on the yacht (for example, climb onto the top of the mast and take a selfie), sunbathe in an inflatable pineapple. And if we start early, we will have time to go to the town of Sami and visit one of its mysterious caves.

The evening on the yacht, as always, will be pleasant and slow - with jazz records and a glass of local wine.

Going back to Lefkada

Soon we will have to leave the yacht that we like so much! But so far we are on board and the adventure is not over yet! We can stay in Vati - the capital of Ithaka. We can sail closer to the grottoes on the small island of Meganisi.

After having a good walk, we will return to Lefkada and get ready for the last evening on the yacht.

We will leave the yacht before 9 in the morning.
