RYA Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster™ theory is an advanced course that builds on the knowledge gained at the theory Day Skipper level.
You will be taught the fundamentals of crewing such as knots, nautical terms, sail handling and helming, as well as how to “live” in the environment of a cruising yacht.
The course introduces the absolute beginner to sailing a cruising yacht. At the end of the 5 days, you will have become a competent (and confident) member of the crew.
This course is for beginners and those who would like to become active crew members rather than just passengers.
