Having received the International Bareboat Skipper Certificate, you can independently charter a yacht on a charter and operate it in the waters of any country.
This course is great for groups of friends or like-minded people to get together for a few days of fun sailing while learning skills to better help as crew onboard.
The certificated confirms the skills sufficient to sail the yacht in light and dark hours at a distance from a sheltered port up to 100 sea miles.
Luch is a single-seater yacht of the Olympic class. A training session on this yacht will most clearly show how the wind, sail, and current work.

You will learn not only to sail on a yacht, but to fine tune the sails, feel the balance, take starts, steer downwind, understand tactics, control the gennaker and, of course, work in a team in any position
During the RYA Coastal Skipper course your instructor will guide you through navigation, both offshore and in limited visibility, weather forecasting and passage planning, watch keeping, preparation for sea and handling heavy weather.
It’s a fun hands-on course to enjoy being on the water while learning basic sailing skills.
Taught over 40 hours, the course is a comprehensive introduction to cruising for inexperienced skippers and provides you with the required knowledge to navigate safely.
