Igor Konstantinov

I am Igor, the author and the skipper of the Winter Apartments project. At the age of 14, I began my marine life. First, I received a classical marine education at the Leningrad Nakhimov Naval School, then a higher maritime education at the Sevastopol Higher Naval Engineering School. Later, for 12 years I was serving on nuclear submarines. My whole life I devote to the sea, and since 2013 I have been doing sea voyages on a sailing yacht. We spend lots of time on these trips to the sea, discovering new shores and gaining new experience.

The Winter Apartments project is a voyage across the Mediterranean Sea and Africa to the Canary Islands. It has elements of a cruise where we see picturesque cities and bays. There are long sea crossings, watching romantic sunrises, and sunsets. 

We are starting the new season by adjusting our program based on your recommendations - participants of the previous season. This year's voyage consists of 10-day stages. At each stage, there are days for a full coastal program with walking and driving around in a car. We developed recommendations of when and where it is better to arrive and depart. We now accept payments on credit. You can also pay with the certificates that you have earned on our voyages (100 nautical miles equal 25 euro)

Our self-esteem grows when we know about our achievements that are tangible and measurable. This also makes us more self-confident and helps us come up with new goals, and gives us the enthusiasm to achieve them. When you look at the photos from your trips you can confidently say - yes, that was awesome!
